If conventional recycling methods fail:

Chemolyse

With the catalytic chemolysis of polyamides, even contaminated material streams and mixed materials can be recycled reliably and energy-efficiently - you can even recover high-quality engineering plastics. The tailor-made catalysts ensure a high degree of selectivity in the chemolytic cleavage of the desired polyamide.

Following thorough purification, the standard industrial monomers are recovered and can be fed back into existing processes without further modification. The process developed by Polysecure saves up to 80% of the energy input compared to conventional chemical recycling processes. Only materials that can be obtained from renewable, biological sources are used, and up to 95% of these are recycled.

Tailor-made catalysis

By utilising state-of-the-art quantum chemical simulations, the process can be adapted to your specific application in a very short time. Based on our flexible catalyst platform, the optimal conditions for the recovery of your material stream are determined, enabling you to retain the value of your products as fully as possible. Our process is particularly suitable for material streams where conventional mechanical recycling is not an option, as impurities are separated during the process and the degradation of polymer chains plays no role in the complete conversion back to monomers. Legacy additives can also be reliably eliminated in this way.
