The world is drowning in plastic waste — yet it is also a valuable resource that current recycling systems fail to capture. To unlock circularity, we rethink how materials are identified, separated, and recovered to preserve their value. At Polysecure, we challenge the status quo by approaching sorting from an entirely new perspective and by redefining detection, processing, and material separation.
Our vision is to enable a new generation of sorting technologies that overcomes existing limitations, maximize material value and make high-quality recycling scalable. By combining advanced detection, modular design, intelligent algorithms, and precise separation, we are building the foundation for a more efficient and climate-positive future.
Sort4Circle®
Single-step sorting process with multi-sensor analysis (NIR, color, image (AI), MIR, LIBS, fluorescence etc) to generate well specified, definable and pure secondary materials (>99% purity).
TracerBasedSorting
Enhances Sort4Circle® with precise sorting of conventionally indistinguishable material fractions using fluorescent markers.
Sorting Solutions
Polysecure provides sorting solutions for a wide range of material streams — from shredded waste and rigid or flexible plastics to post-production and post-industrial plastic materials.

Sort4Circle®
Do you want to sort waste streams completely, precisely, and efficiently into defined fractions?
Our innovative Sort4Circle® technology enables an economical closed loops - a genuine circular economy. You can recover more high-quality recyclate from waste in a CO2-efficient manner if you pre-sort the relevant waste streams specifically and better. This creates greater order — and therefore greater circularity — across material and product streams, whether in packaging, automotive, white goods, or textiles. Today, for example, most PE-based packaging ends up in the same fraction, regardless of whether it originates from food packaging, detergents, monolayer, or multilayer applications. With our sorting technology, even these fractions can be reliably and completely sorted according to relevant specifications - in line with the requirements of a truly circular economy. Today, there is no alternative to a circular economy, not only to protect the climate and the environment, but also to utilise resources more efficiently.
Sort4Circle®
Efficient technology-open sorting solution
With Sort4Circle®, we are opening up a new era of precision and efficiency in the sorting of valuable materials. All objects are first singulated and then detected and sorted in only one step (like letter sorting).
As a result, sorting remains flexible, scalable and economical, even with numerous fractions. The detection is performed by a novel combined detector. It simultaneously measures NIR, MIR, AI-based imaging, tracer, color, optional digital watermarks for each object, making the system compatible with all current and potentially future detection technologies.
Thus, a truly technology-open sorting process emerges with a great future.
Sort4Circle® can be seamlessly expanded with fully automated singulation and sorting units and flexibly adapted — both upstream and downstream of the central detection module.
The sorter shown on the left is a compact implementation of the core Sort4Circle® detection technology. It was specifically designed for post-industrial waste streams and larger objects and supports manual or semi-automated feeding.
At the heart of the system is an enclosed, light-shielded detection module for precise single-pass analysis — even for challenging materials such as carbon-black plastics.
The system achieves purity levels of over 99% across a wide range of polymers and colors. It detects up to 15 polymer types (via NIR) as well as black plastics (via MIR) and processes up to 3,600 objects per hour. Its compact footprint enables easy integration, while real-time data analytics and object-level tracking ensure full transparency.

Sorting Beyond Conventional Limits
Tracers Mark the Difference
Do you want to separate material fractions that cannot be distinguished using conventional sorting technologies and define the recycling pathway already during production? Our innovative Tracer-Based-Sorting (TBS) technology integrates fluorescent marker particles into or onto the respective object during manufacturing. These invisible markers indicate how a product should later be sorted and recycled. The markers are considered safe even for food-contact applications.
This enables reliable sorting into defined and highly specific fractions along the optimal recycling pathway.
