Technology Prize "THE SURFACE 2014", Stuttgart, Germany

Product & Technology Award

STEP Award 2015 for products and technology of the POLYSECURE GMBH.
The Entrepreneur Award for future-oriented sectors, is an established and renowned competition to reward innovative and high-growth companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

sorting machines

New breakthrough tracer based sorting technology and sorting principle for improved recycling of plastics & composites (plastic sorting).

Industry

Application possibilities – Technical piracy protection: Tamper-proof audit originality is important - conclusive authentication. Whether the primary goal is geared to regain sales and defend intellectual property rights or deny unjustified warranty claims and liability claims.

Solutions

Permanent marker solutions using fluorescence markers for rapid product authentication and validation (including composition), anti-counterfeiting, quality assurance, efficient material sorting for recycling and more.

POLYSECURE GmbH receives the Surface Technology Prize "THE SURFACE 2014" in bronze, together with the hard chrome Schoch GmbH. Awarded at the O & S 2014 in Stuttgart, by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation, IPA shortly.

June 24th, 2014, Stuttgart. The prize "THE SURFACE" Fraunhofer IPA stands across disciplines of innovations that enable the key technology to introduce new products and technologies.
The winners were selected by an independent jury and awarded at the international trade fair for surface treatments and coatings O & S in Stuttgart on 24 June 2014th

For more than 20 high-quality applications, the Airbus Group won the race. The team has developed an extremely water repellent plane surface which reduces the formation of ice and contamination on aircraft surfaces. Second place took the cooperation CeramTec / Medicoat with a coating technology, to grow through the bone on ceramic implant. Bronze won Hartchrom Schoch GmbH, which patented the marker Polysecure GmbH in chemically, or has embedded surface layer systems electrochemically generated.

3rd place:

Hartchrom Schoch GmbH with patented labeling technology from POLYSECURE - "Anti-Stokes crystals in chemically or electrochemically generated surface layer systems highlight products safely"

06.24.2014, Stuttgart, Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation. Excellent surface technology - extract from the text of the award ceremony: Hartchrom Schoch GmbH store markers, achieved by different methods, in chemically or electrochemically generated surfaces, such as hard chrome or electroless nickel coating systems. Almost insoluble and up to 1600 ° C thermal stability, the marker has three essential characteristics: characteristic fluorescence, a reproducible chemical code and a structural fingerprint. The applications can be used for example in counterfeit protection, product liability through proof of originality, the wear indication, security technology or the anti-theft protection.
